For the last decade, Melissa Krikorian, MPT, has been integrating her biomechanical expertise with compelling, neuroscience developing a break-through process of addressing all the brain’s functional tasks: optimal movement, mental acuity, emotional stability. The multiple neuronal highways that drive all aspects of our everyday life (from exercising to doing our taxes to relating to our loved ones) intersect in multiple cortexes of the brain. The size and health of these cortexes and the efficiency of these intersections influence the productivity and accuracy of all our daily experiences. If any one network gets hijacked by pain (emotional or physical), all the responsibilities of that network is hindered. Most of us have multiple jamming in these thoroughfares resulting in inaccurate processing and undesirable outcomes. Cortical Field Re-Education (CFR) is able to interced in the physical structure (size, number of neurons and health of neuronal connections) and the processing efficiency of networks to eliminate physical pain and symptoms, regulate emotional processing and upgrade mental clarity and efficiency.
Melissa Krikorian has been working with the human body for 20 years starting as a Physical Trainer in the 80’s, licensed as a Physical Therapist in the 90’s and currently providing Continuing Education Units for California Physical Therapists (state licensure). She teaches internationally, at Esalen Institute and has her own private practice in Westlake Village, CA.
